behalf of my colleagues on the Board and all members
of the Barbados Cricket Association, it gives me
great pleasure to welcome you to the
Website
of the Barbados Cricket Association. We have
developed this site with the intention of serving
better our members, current and prospective and our
valued partners, players and supporters.
In keeping with our tradition of providing through
the sport of cricket, joy and satisfaction to our
clients, we in the BCA, believe that easier and
ready access must be provided to all to know more
about our Association , our vision and our mission,
but especially to make communicating with us a more
pleasurable experience.
This site will be an added convenience for our
members, players, stakeholders and the wider cricket
loving public. It will offer greater exposure for
the Association, and provide an in depth knowledge
of the organization and its operations. Because of
the unlimited space and time at our disposal, we are
better placed to provide more speedily the kind of
information which is frequently required.
The Barbados Cricket Association is the guardian of
the sport of cricket in Barbados, where cricket is
often referred to as a “religion”. Indeed it is more
than a game to Barbadians. It is a way of life.
Our strategy is to build on the total commitment and
dedication of our Board and our members to achieve
the highest standards of service. We see this
website as a vehicle and a window of opportunity to
further enhance our well earned reputation of more
than one hundred years of service to Barbados and
West Indies cricket.
