Springer, Greaves elected to BCA Board of Management

Bridgetown, Barbados, October 24 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Kamal Springer and Pedro Greaves have been elected as new directors of the Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) Board of Management.

Springer gained 39 votes and Greaves 38 at the 18th Special meeting at Kensington Oval on Friday.

The other contenders were Ignatius Marshall (27), Evril “Betty” Lewis (27) and Anthony Depeiza (18).

Marshall and Lewis entered the election as incumbents.

Springer served on the Board between 2013 and 2017, while it will be the first time for Greaves.

Vice-president Calvin Hope and treasurer Jason King were returned unopposed.

The full Board: Conde Riley (president), Calvin Hope (vice-president), Gregory Nicholls (secretary), Jason King (treasurer), Winston Stafford, Roland Butcher, Timothy Boyce, Kamal Springer, Pedro Greaves.
