Veterans beat Travellers by 19 runs to capture inaugural Amaas T20 Masters Tournament

Bridgetown, Barbados, August 23 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Veterans beat Travellers by 19 runs to capture the inaugural Amaas Twenty20 Masters (Over 50s) Tournament today.

In the Final at the BNOC ground, Woodbourne, St. Philip, Veterans scored 128 for seven after winning the toss.

Despite a knock of 53 off 47 balls including three fours and two sixes from captain and Player Of The Match, Owen Birch, Travellers were restricted to 109 for seven.

Former Barbados and West Indies ‘B’ team medium-fast bowler Victor "Vibert" Greene took three for 23.
