Maxwell T20 Tournament to climax July 25

Bridgetown, Barbados, July 19 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Following a break for roughly four months because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Maxwell Sports Club Twenty20 Tapeball Tournament will climax on Saturday, July 25 at the Briar Hall ground in Christ Church.

There will be a third place playoff between 2018 Champions DIRA's Bar & Friends and K & R Variety & Blue Integrity Green Team at 2 p.m. followed by the Final which will feature the 2019 Charles Griffith Invitational T20 Classic champions Marks Auto Spares Belair Stars and Caribbean Mix at 6 p.m.

Immediately following the Final, the presentation ceremony will commence. The champions will pocket $6, 000.00 and a trophy, the losing finalists $3000.00 and a trophy with the third-place $1000.00 and a trophy. There will also be individual prizes for Most runs, wickets, catches and Man of the Match for the Final.

Jones Funeral Home, Trans-Tech Inc., A & A Auto Parts & Accessories, SigniaGlobe Financial Inc., Sandals Barbados Resort & Spa, Hunte’s Auto Spares Inc., Marks Auto Spares, Parts Unlimited  and Beauty & General Supplies Inc.

Meantime, the Annual General Meeting of the Maxwell Sports Club is scheduled for Sunday, July 26 at the Briar Hall pavilion commencing at 10 a.m.
