Dowrich, Chase to captain teams in first Barbados Pride one-day trial match

Bridgetown, Barbados, October 10 - (www.bcacricket.org) - West Indies Test players, wicket-keeper/batsman Shane Dowrich and all-rounder Roston Chase will captain the teams in the first Barbados Pride one-day trial match at the Carlton ground, Desmond Haynes Oval on Tuesday, October 15.

The match is in preparation for the Cricket West Indies (CWI) Super50 Cup Championship, slated for Trinidad & Tobago and St. Kitts from November 6 to December 1 with the former also hosting the semi-finals and Final.

All told, four trial matches have been scheduled. The others are on October 17 at Desmond Haynes Oval; October 23 at St. Catherine Club, Bayfield and October 29 at Pickwick Club, Foursquare Oval.

Play starts at 9:30 a.m.
