Goodman, Wilkinson for attachment in England
Bridgetown, Barbados, May 8 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Left-arm spinner Damario Goodman and all-rounder Vataly Wilkinson, who both play for Barbados Defence Force Sports Progamme (BDFSP) are to have a four-month attachment with the Lancashire Cricket Foundation (formerly Lancashire Cricket Board) in England.
The attachment is a continuation of the Barbados Cricket Association’s (BCA) partnership with the Lancashire Cricket Foundation, which began in 2010 and has benefitted over a dozen young cricketers since its inception.
Last year’s selectees were Jermain Davis and Romario Griffith.
Goodman and Wilkinson are scheduled to leave the island on Friday, May 10. They will be accompanied by long-standing BCA Director Winston Stafford, who chairs the Association’s Education, Scholarships and Placements Committee.
Goodman and Wilkinson are to return home on September 24.
