Dottin hits unbeaten half-century as Barbados beat T&T, Regional Women’s T20 Blaze, Round 4

Georgetown, Guyana, April 2 - ( - Veteran all-rounder Deandra Dottin sustained her fine form with the bat by hitting an unbeaten half-century as Barbados crushed Trinidad & Tobago by seven wickets to record their fourth straight win in the Regional Women’s Twenty20 Blaze at the Guyana National Stadium today.

Chasing 137 to win, Barbados triumphed in 15.3 overs with Dottin scoring 52 not out off 32 balls including five fours and two sixes.

She featured in an unbroken partnership of 71 in 7.2 overs with Kyshona Knight who made 33 not out off 23 balls containing five boundaries.

Kyshona’s twin sister, Kycia, scored 28 before she was run out.

Dottin also took two for nine with her medium-pace and fast bowler Shakira Selman, two for 19 - both off four overs - in a total of 136 for six off 20 overs after Trinidad & Tobago were sent in.
