Ashley Nurse among top BNOC performers on winning roll on tour of England

London, England, August 16 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Barbados club BNOC Masters have been on a winning roll on their tour of England & Wales.

Boasting the likes of Barbados Pride and West Indies One-Day International off-spinning all-rounder Ashley Nurse, former Barbados batsman Randy Thomas and the versatile Rivaldo Clarke, who was a member of the champion Barbados Under-15 team in the recent Cricket West Indies Regional Under-15 Championship in Barbados, BNOC have won their first three matches.

All three players have produced significant performances in the success so far.

Thomas scored 79 and Nurse made 73 and took three for 46 in a 14-run win over Dunstall, while Clarke, a tiny, talented batsman, who also keeps wicket and bowls off-spin, made an unbeaten 31 off Cardiff, who were beaten by 73 runs.

Members of the touring party will be among West Indians watching the historic Day/Night opening Test between England and West Indies at Edgbaston in Birmingham, starting August 17.

The BNOC Masters touring party numbers 60 and is due to return home on August 30.

Captained by former BET (also known as Cable & Wireless and LIME) top league off-spinning all-rounder Anthony Morris, the group is made up of 23 cricketers with a mixture of youth and experience,  diehard supporters, friends and family of the BNOC Masters.
