Windward Islands were 42 without loss off 11 overs in reply to a first innings total of 200 for eight declared off 63.4 overs when rain ended play in the four-day match at 4:25 p.m.

The not out batsmen were left-hander Devon Smith on 11 and Tyrone Theophile, 27.

Barbados Pride, resuming on 137 for six off 48.2 overs, declared at tea.

Captain Kevin Stoute topscored with 50 not out after starting the day on three.

Stoute reached his half-century in 94 minutes off 63 balls with four boundaries.

Pacer Mervin Matthew was the leading wicket-taker with four for 52 off 18 overs.

Today, left-hander Jonathan Carter, who resumed on 14, was caught at the wicket by Sunil Ambris as he pushed forward off left-arm pacer Kenroy Peters, for 22 (154-7; 51.5 overs).
