T&T Senior Women beat BCA Women by 31 runs in Goodwill T20 Series

Bridgetown, Barbados, June 8 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Trinidad & Tobago Senior Women beat a BCA Women's XI by 31 runs in the second match of the Triangular Goodwill Twenty20 Series at Friendship today.

Set up by a second wicket partnership of 75 in 10.2 overs between Felicia Walters and Britney Cooper, Trinidad & Tobago scored 123 for six off 20 overs after winning the toss.

Walters topscored with 40 off 40 balls, hitting three fours, while Cooper, a West Indies Women's player, made 39 off 31 deliveries including four fours and one six.

There were four run outs.

Barbados Women were restricted to 92 for eight.

Captain Shaquana Quintyne scored 31 off 34 balls with two boundaries before she was run out and fellow West Indies Women's all-rounder Hayley Matthews contributed 24 off 14 balls, striking three fours and one six.

Stacy-Ann King, the 31-year-old left-arm medium-pacer, who like Matthews and Cooper were members of the successful West Indies Women's team to Sri Lanka last month, grabbed four for 15 off four overs including the scalps of Matthews and her opening partner Kycia Knight (five), who was also on the trip to Sri Lanka.

Karaishma Ramharack picked up two for 20 off four overs.
