The Barbados Cricket Association had announced that the Final of the 2006 Sagicor Shield competition between Earthworks Melrose and Combermere was scheduled to be played on Sunday September 10, 2006.
The Association, however, is now in receipt of a letter from PHD St. John’s Cultural Cricket Club indicating their disappointment at the decision of the BCA’s Board of Management to award the Sagicor Shield semi-final match to Combermere.
They have therefore lodged an appeal against that decision and requested that the matter be settled by Arbitration in accordance with the Rules of the BCA. In light of the above circumstances the BCA has decided to postpone the final of the Sagicor Shield Competition until the matter is finally resolved |
