The final of the 2006 Sagicor Shield competition between Combermere and Melrose will be played on Sunday September 10, 2006 at Queen’s Park.
The Organising Committee of the Sagicor Competition met on Thursday August 31 and has decided to dedicate the Final to two stalwarts of Barbados cricket who have made an immeasurable contribution to the Limited Overs game in Barbados. Sir Clyde and Keith Walcott.
Sir Clyde was the first Chairman of the Barbados Fire & General Competition whilst Keith was a member of the Committee from its inception until 2004. |
