The preliminary rounds of the Sagicor Shield Competition have been completed and the zone winners are as follows: -

 

Zone ‘A’  Combermere 20 points
Zone ‘B’ Standard  20 points
Zone ‘C’  PHD St. John’s Cultural 16 points
 Zone ‘D’ Earthworks Melrose 20 points
Zone ‘E’  Malvern 16 points
Zone ‘F’ ELD Belleplaine 16 points
Zone ‘G’ Old Brigand Dover 20 points
 Zone ‘H’ Alexandra 18 points

 

In Zone ‘C’ and ‘E’ three teams had 16 points each and in accordance with Regulation 5 (d) (1) (b), net run rate was used to determine the zone winner.

The quarterfinals will be played on Sunday, July 2, 2006 and teams are invited to send representatives to the BCA’s office on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at 11:00 am to make the draw for the home teams for both the quarterfinals and the semifinals.
