Pursuant to an order of Mr. Justice William Chandler of the High Court in Chambers on Friday May 12, 2006, the interim injunction granted against the Barbados Cricket Association on Friday, May 05, 2006 to prevent the start of the BCA 2006 domestic cricket competition has been discharged.

In the circumstances and to ensure minimum disruption the Barbados Cricket Association wishes to advise all Clubs, Schools and the Barbados Cricket Umpires’ Association that the season will commence with the second series of fixtures.

The dates for the respective divisions are as follows:-

Division One                                                  -           May 20, 27, 28

Sagicor Cup                                                  -           May 21

Premier, Intermediate and Schools            -           May 27, June 3, 10

Division Two                                                  -           May 20, 27

The schedule of matches will be published in the Press on Wednesday May 17, 2006.
