Malvern has decided not to appeal

 

Malvern Sports  & Cultural Club informed the BCA today that contrary to its earlier indication to appeal the decision of the Complaints and Disputes Committee in respect of the Barbados Fire & Commercial Shield semi-final which was played on September 8, 2002, it does not now intend to pursue the matter.

According to the Rules of the BCA, Malvern had fourteen (14) days from notification of the decision of the Complaints & Disputes Committee, given in writing on September 20, 2002, to file written grounds of appeal.

 

Fourteen (14) days would have expired on Friday October 4, 2002 and given Malvern’s earlier indication, the BCA was prevented from making any further arrangements for the Competition to continue.

 

The BF&C Committee will now set a date for the Final which will be contested by Oran Bristol and Wotton.
