 Holford congratulates Barbados Red Stripe Bowl Team.

“It was excellent cricket from our team and I congratulate them on a well-deserved victory.”

This statement was made today by First Vice President of the BCA, Mr. David Holford on the occasion of Barbados’ victory over Jamaica in the Red Stripe Bowl Competition at the Kaiser Sports Club, Jamaica yesterday.

 “I expected them to win.  It is clear that the work which was put into the team effort by the Manager, Coach and the players themselves has reaped dividends” Mr. Holford said.  “The Members of the Board are very pleased with the performance of both the young players and the more-seasoned players.  We look forward to their triumphant return” he concluded.

The Barbados team returns from Jamaica this afternoon at 5:35p.m.
