Castries, St. Lucia, July 8 – (www.bcacricket.org) - Windward Islands won the toss and are batting against Barbados at Beausejour on the opening day of Round 1 matches in the 2010 TCL Group West Indies Under-19 three-day Challenge here today.
Wicket-keeper/batsman Mario Rampersaud is leading the Barbados team in the absence of opener Kraigg Brathwaite, who was a member of the West Indies ‘A’ team on the tour of England.
Barbados omitted Justin Greaves and Rico Depeiza.
Defending champions Jamaica won the toss and put Trinidad & Tobago in to bat at Gros Islet, while the Leewards Islands were batting against Guyana after a late start at Dennery.
