Goddards School Division - Bridgetown, Barbados, December 1 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Christ Church Foundation are strongly placed to dethrone St. Leonard’s as champions of the BCA Schools’ division three-day Competition.

On the second day of the Final at the Harrison College ‘A ground, Crumpton Street, today, the Church Hill school, who last won the Championship in 2016, took a commanding first innings lead of 183 and then enforced the follow-on.

Resuming on 237 off seven off 62 overs from last Saturday of which Jordan Reifer slammed 106 and Dasani Griffith made 77, Foundation were bowled out for 256 in 71.4 overs.

St. Leonard’s, contesting their fourth straight Final, then crumbled for 73 in 29.4 overs.

They were undermined by left-arm spinner Rondre Yearwood, who took three for 29 ad pacer Adjani Watkins with two for 24.

Following-on, St. Leonard’s reached 22 without loss at stumps.

The match ends on Saturday, December 7.
