Providence, Guyana, February 28 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Barbados Pride were 23 for three off nine overs in their first innings after winning the toss against Guyana Jaguars on the opening day of Round 9 in the regional first-class Championship at the Guyana National Stadium today.

The not out batsmen were Jonathan Carter on one and Aaron Jones, nought.

Shayne Moseley was leg before wicket by left-arm medium-pacer Raymon Reifer for two (15-1; 5.1 overs).

Rashidi Boucher was leg before wicket by Reifer for 17 (21-2; 7.4 overs).

And Shamarh Brooks was caught down the leg side by wicket-keeper Anthony Bramble off fast bowler Romario Shepherd for one (23-3; 8.4 overs).
