Iris Walker Memorial Series - Bridgetown, Barbados, February 14 - ( - Half-centuries from captain Kycia Knight and Hayley Matthews, along with a three-wicket haul by Pamela Lavine, helped Angela Harris Tridents to their first win - by 12 runs against Pat Whittaker Pride - in the BCA Iris Walker Memorial Twenty20 Tournament.

Playing at Brighton on Sunday, Tridents made 135 for five off 20 overs after winning the toss.

They were propelled by an 84-run second wicket partnership between Matthews and Kycia Knight after Keila Elliott fell for two with the score 17 in the fifth over.

Matthews scored 50 from 49 balls including six fours and one six before she was bowled by Kyshonna Knight in the 15th over.

Kycia Knight topscored with 66 off 49 balls, hitting five fours and three sixes. She was dismissed off the last ball of the innings from her twin sister Kyshonna, who took three for 30 off four overs.

Pride had a disastrous start, losing openers Shaquana Quintyne (nought) and Sherika Lopez (two) by the third over.

But a 109-run third wicket partnership between Kyshonna Knight and Aaliyah Alleyne kept them in the hunt as both began to score freely.

Shalite Lopez was re-introduced into the attack and dismissed Kyshonna Knight for 68 off 55 balls including four fours and four sixes with the score 114 in the 18th over.

Then Lavine returned to grab three wickets for two runs in the penultimate over with all of her victims bowled to end with three for 14 off four overs as Pride were restricted to 123 for seven.

Alleyne made 39.
