Barbados still at top after rain forces abandonment in key match v Windwards, CWI Under-19

Kingstown, St. Vincent, August 4 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Barbados remained at the top of the Points Table after rain forced an abandonment of play in their Cricket West Indies (CWI) Under-19 top-of-the-table fourth and penultimate round one-day clash with Windward Islands at Park Hill Playing Field today.

There was a similar outcome in the other two matches - Leeward Islands v Trinidad & Tobago at Arnos Vale and Jamaica v Guyana at Cumberland.

The final round is scheduled for Tuesday. Matches are: Barbados v Leeward Islands at Park Hill; Windward Islands v Jamaica at Cumberland; Trinidad & Tobago v Guyana at Arnos Vale.

Barbados are on 15.8 points, just ahead of Windward Islands on 14.8. Both teams have two wins and two no results.

In third position are defending champions Guyana on 10.2, followed by Trinidad & Tobago 8.7, Jamaica 4.6 and Leeward Islands 4.4.
