Dorne, Clarke star to set up Foundation, QC Final in Sir Everton Weekes Under-13 Tourney
Bridgetown, Barbados, May 27 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Foundation will oppose Amaze Queen’s College in the Final of the BCA Sir Everton Weekes Under-13 limited overs Championship at Bank Hall on Thursday, May 30.
In today’s semi-finals, Foundation demolished Nicholls Baking Combermere by 100 runs at Queen’s Park, while Queen’s College defeated last year’s champions Collymore Sports Alexandra by 58 runs at Dayrells Road.
All-rounder Joshua Dorne was the star for Foundation.
Dorne slammed an unbeaten 91 off 71 balls with nine fours and two sixes at No. 4 in a total of 209 for eight off 30 overs after Foundation won the toss. He then took two for 17 as Combermere were bowled out for 109 in 26.3 overs.
Preston Clarke was the outstanding player with both bat and ball for Queen’s College.
Batting at No. 4, Clarke made 60 off 63 deliveries including eight fours in a total of 196 for six off 31 overs after Queen’s College had the luck of the toss, and grabbed five for 35 as Alexandra were dismissed for 138 in 31 overs.
Foundation beat Combermere by 100 runs.

Queen’s College beat Alexandra by 59 runs.
