Dottin stars with bat and ball as Barbados beat T&T by 28 runs to retain Women’s Super50 Cup
Georgetown, Guyana, March 25 - (www.bcacricket.org) - All-rounder Deandra Dottin starred with both bat and ball as Barbados beat Trinidad & Tobago by 28 runs at Enmore in the fifth and final round of the Colonial Medical Insurance regional Women’s Super50 Cup to retain the title today.
Dottin slammed 73 off 43 balls with three fours and six sixes in a total of 242 for seven off 50 overs after Barbados were sent in.
Kycia Knight topscored with 77 off 88 deliveries including eight fours and twin sister Kyshona Knight made 56 with five boundaries.
The pair added 133 in 34.3 overs for the third wicket after openers, captain Hayley Matthews and Danielle Small were dismissed without a run scored.
Dottin easily dominated a fifth wicket partnership of 86 in 8.5 overs with Kyshina Knight.
Seamer Dottin then grabbed six for 43 off 8.5 overs as Trinidad & Tobago were bowled out for 214 in 47.5 overs.
Barbados won all of their matches.
