Providence, Guyana, March 2 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Guyana Jaguars beat Barbados Pride by seven wickets - 41 minutes after lunch on the third day of Round 9 in the regional first-class Championship at the Guyana National Stadium today.

Set 114 to win, Guyana scored 118 for three off 29 overs.

Opener Chandrapaul Hemraj topscored with 51.

Medium-pacer Shamar Springer took all three wickets for 29 runs.

Tagenarine Chanderpaul was caught by wicket-keeper Tevyn Walcott off Springer for eight (35-1; 9.2 overs).

Vishaul Singh was caught at second slip by Jomel Warrican off Springer for eight (51-2; 18 overs).

And Hemraj was caught by Miguel Cummins off Springer (82-3; 23.4 overs).

The not out batsmen were Leon Johnson on 20 and Christopher Barnwell, 23.
