Barbados beat T&T by 4 wickets, Regional 1st-class, Round 7, Day 4, Update 11, RESULT

Bridgetown, Barbados, February 10 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Barbados Pride beat Trinidad & Tobago Red Force by four wickets - 70 minutes after tea on the fourth and final day of Round 7 in the regional first-class Championship at Kensington Oval today.

Set 324 to win and starting the day on 15 without loss off five overs, Barbados scored 326 for six off 81.2 overs.

Captain Jonathan Carter led the way with a career-best 149 not out - his fifth first-class century.

Left-hander Carter batted for 276 minutes, faced 185 balls and struck 14 fours and four sixes. He reached his fifth first-class century in 177 minutes off 121 balls with ten fours and two sixes. His half-century took 93 minutes off 57 balls and included five fours and two sixes.

All-rounder Shamar Springer made 66 and wicket-keeper/batsman Tevyn Walcott was unbeaten on 48.

Springer batted for 127 minutes, faced 105 balls and hit five fours and two sixes. He got to his fifty in 75 minutes off 55 deliveries with four fours and two sixes.

Carter and Springer added 128 for the sixth wicket, while the Carter-Walcott stand put on 94.
