Bridgetown, Barbados, October 10 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Combined Campuses & Colleges (CCC) Marooners beat Barbados Pride by seven wickets in Round 4 of the Cricket West Indies (CWI) Zone ‘B’ match at 3Ws Oval today.

Set 175 to win, CCC scored 178 for three in 31.3 overs.

Captain Carlos Brathwaite slammed an unbeaten 50 off 31 balls with three fours and three sixes.

Debutant Jonathan Drakes scored 41 not out off 46 balls including  four fours.

Kyle Corbin, pushing forward, was leg before wicket by a faster ball from left-arm spinner Sulieman Benn for 40 (70-1; 14.3 overs).

Amir Jangoo, shaping to turn, was caught down the leg-side by wicket-keeper Lenilko Boucher off off-spinner Ashley Nurse for three (85-2; 17.3 overs).

And Kjorn Ottley, sweeping, was leg before wicket by Nurse for 42 (88-3; 19.4 overs).
