WICB Regional 50-Over Tournament
Three Barbados Under-19 players in third Pride trial match - Carter, Benn to lead teams
Bridgetown, Barbados, September 3 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Three Barbados Under-19 team players - captain Joshua Bishop, Shian Brathwaite and Antonio Morris - have been included in Jonathan Carter’s team to oppose Sulieman Benn’s side in the third Barbados Pride one-day trial match at the Foursquare Oval on Tuesday, September 4.
Bishop, a left-arm spinner and capable lower order batsman and attacking batsmen Brathwaite and Morris all recently returned home from the Cricket West Indies (CWI) Youth Championships in St. Vincent. Barbados finished second in the three-day and fourth in the one-day.
The trial match is in preparation for the CWI Super50 Championship scheduled for Barbados and Trinidad & Tobago, October 1 to 28.
