Skeete slams unbeaten century as North Stars beat Frocester in first tour match
Birmingham, England, August 16 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Ashley Skeete slammed an even, unbeaten century as the North Stars Cultural & Social Club from Barbados beat Froscester by four runs in their opening tour match on Wednesday.
Opener Skeete hit 13 fours and one six in a total of 214 for three off 28 overs.
Following the early dismissal of Rodwell London without scoring, Skeete was supported by the likes of Giovonte Depeiza, who made 52 with ten fours and Shavel Griffith (27).
Frocester were bowled out for 210.
Will Helmke topscored with 50 retired including seven fours and one six at the top.
Rodney Browne took four for 52 and Alvin Campbell, two for 34.
It is the tenth biennial tour of England for North Stars. The club is based at Crab Hill in the northern parish of St. Lucy.
