Bridgetown, Barbados, June 26 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Sagicor Life UWI beat CounterPoint Wanderers by six wickets with one over remaining in the first semi-final of the BCA Sagicor Twenty20 Championship at Kensington Oval tonight.
Set 140 to win, UWI made 141 for four off 19 overs.
Leniko Boucher topscored with 66 off 46 balls including nine fours. His half-century came off 34 balls and contained seven fours.
Skipper Nicholas Kirton scored 50 not out off 46 balls with two fours and one six.
Left-hander Jervain Benjamin was bowled by leg-spinner Nikolai Charles for one (6-1; 1.2 overs).
Boucher was caught at long-off by Jason Greene off Charles (100-2; 13 overs).
Shaquille Williams was caught at midwicket by Roshon Primus off left-arm spinner Chad Clarke-Reifer for six (114-3; 15.3 overs).
