Quintyne hits 65 as Pat Whittaker Pride defeat Tridents in Walker one-day Competition

Bridgetown, Barbados, February 6 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Shaquana Quintyne led by example with a solid half-century as Pat Whittaker Pride defeated Angela Harris Tridents by 16 runs in the BCA Iris Walker limited overs Competition at Brighton on Saturday.

Skipper and opener Quintyne made 65 off 89 balls with eight fours in a total of 178 all out in 39.1 overs after winning the toss.

Fellow Barbados and West Indies Women's player Shamilia Connell scored 35 off 34 balls including five boundaries and Kyshonna Knight, 29.

Another national and West Indies Women's player, Hayley Matthews, took four for 26 off 7.1 overs and Shonise Kirton, three for 18 off five overs.

Tridents were limited to 162 for eight off 42 overs.

Kycia Knight, yet another Barbados and West Indies Women's cap, topscored with 57 off 53 deliveries including eight boundaries.

Aaliyah A. Alleyne took four for 55 off nine overs.
