Berbice, Guyana, February 14 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Guyana, set 329 to win in a minimum 106 overs, were 59 for three off 16 overs at the close of play on the third day of the fifth round regional first-class match against Barbados at Albion here today.
The not out batsmen were nightwatchman Davendra Bishoo on eight and Royston Crandon, nought.
Captain Sewnarine Chattergoon was caught at backward square-leg by Kraigg Brathwaite of fast bowler Tino Best for 20 after hitting three consecutive boundaries in the same over (35-1); left-hander Gajanand Singh was leg before wicket by left-arm seamer Pedro Collins for six (49-2) and Rajendra Chandrika, was caught low at slip by Dale Richards off West Indies left-arm spinner Sulieman Benn for 17 (53-3).
