Charlestown, Nevis, January 15 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Barbados were 33 for one in reply to the Combined Campuses & Colleges (CCC) first innings total of 213 all out at the close of play on the opening day of their 2010 West Indies Cricket Board first-class championship second round match at Elquemedo Willett Park here today.

Dale Richards was caught at the wicket by Chadwick Walton off pacer Kevin McClean for 22 with the score 28.

The not out batsmen were Jason Haynes on nine and nightwatchman Nikolai Charles, who is yet to score.

The CCC batsmen dismissed were Omar Phillips (seven), Simon Jackson (22), Nekoli Parris (49), Chadwick Walton (five), captain Floyd Reifer (nought), Kevin McClean (16), Ryan Austin (19), Gavin Wallace (two), Jason Bennett (six) and Kavesh Kantasingh (10).

Romel Currency was unbeaten on 45.

Leg-spinner Charles was the leading wicket-taker with four for 46 off 14.1 overs, while captain and left-arm spinner Ryan Hinds picked up three for 41 off 16.2 overs.

Wicket-keeper Patrick Browne had five victims including four catches.

The batsmen dismissed were Omar Phillips (seven), Simon Jackson (22), Nekoli Parris (49), Chadwick Walton (five), captain Floyd Reifer (nought), Kevin McClean (16), Ryan Austin (19), Gavin Wallace (two), Jason Bennett (six) and Kavesh Kantasingh (10).

Romel Currency was unbeaten on 45.

CCC batting after winning toss against Barbados - WICB first-class championship, Round 2, Day 1, Toss

Charlestown, Nevis, January 15 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Combined Campuses & Colleges (CCC) won the toss and are batting against Barbados on the opening day of their 2010 West Indies Cricket Board first-class championship second round match at Elquemedo Willett Park here today.

Both teams made one change from the opening round.

Barbados brought in experienced fast bowler Tino Best for rookie middle order batsman Kyle Hope who made his debut against Leeward Islands in Jamaica last week while CCC replaced Barbadian pacer Khismar Catlin with leg-spinner Gavin Wallace of Jamaica.
