The not out batsmen were Dale Richards on 45 and Jason Haynes, 19.

Richards has struck six fours and one six in receiving 60 balls while left-hander Haynes has two boundaries and a five after facing 57 deliveries with the pair occupying the crease for 72 minutes.

Barbados omitted experienced fast bowler Tino Best and rookie opening batsman Rashidi Boucher.

Talented

ESA Field batsman Kyle Hope, who amassed a record 1 194 runs at an

average of 66.33 in the 2009 BCA Division 1 championship, is making his

debut at the age of 21.

The Leewards left out veteran all-rounder Wilden Cornwall and Codville Rogers.
